Job description

Digital Brand Manager - Beauty

A strategic and creative Brand Manager with strong digital skills is required to work for a successful and innovative beauty company to grow brand awareness and equity via consumer-centric strategy, marketing plans and NPD within an online environment; working in collaboration with the digital, design, customer services , production and sales teams.


£35,000 – 45,000 per annum
Staff rewards scheme
28 days holiday (Including bank holidays)
Working hours: Mon - Thu 09:00-17:30 Fri 08:30-16:30
Flexitime +/- 0.5 hour

Marketing & Communications

- Provide consumers with value and clear points of difference with profitable growth

- Help the brand stand out from its competitors in the nail and waxing categories

- Analyse current sales results, trends and market needs to develop strategic marketing plans

- Execute objectives, strategies and tactics to ensure growth performance across all channels

- Manage campaign photoshoots with creative direction in line with campaign messaging

- Strategically develop global promotional and activation plans, NPD launches and Comms

New Product Development

- Lead/develop brand strategy on NPD launches and improvement programs from cradle to grave

- Manage kit launch calendar, contribute to pricing strategy for NPD core ranges across £/$/

- Work with sales team to on product, packaging, advertising, merchandising and promotions

- Monitor current and new product performance, sales, margins, highlighting products that need to be reformulated, reworked or discontinued

Market Research

- Assess customer attitudes to current product range/new products and deliver action plan

- Competitor visits, analysing pricing, packaging and new information and new opportunities

- Attend industry trade shows and seminars to stay abreast of current market trends


- Brief the design team on all marketing and product related artwork

- Ensure the product pack copy template is complete and translated in relevant language

- Proof reading artwork to ensure it is on brand, image and overall look and feel

Web Digital & Social Media

- Direct and oversee the brand’s website, working with Designer and Web Developer

- Mange the customer online journey through the website, data capture and email marketing

- Direct and oversee Social Media calendar ensuring a creative and consistent tone of voice

PR Management

- Work with media, PR/digital agencies, to develop a 360 launch plan and all support materials

Marketing Budget

- Mange, track and report on marketing budget delivering optimal return on investment

Sales Support/Trade Marketing

- Ensure key events and exhibitions are planned professionally and inspirationally

- Coordinate PR, experiential events, media opportunities, brand collaborations, key influencer engagement, promotions and advertising


Experienced digital marketing professional with relevant degree
Demonstrable results in social media reach and engagement
Knowledge of e-commerce technology and analytics
Ability to work across multiple departments to stringent deadlines as a strong team player
