K-Beauty Inspirations for Global Product Development
with Lorna Radford, Managing Director, Enkos Developments Ltd.
South Korea is widely recognised as a powerhouse of beauty innovation and in recent years has been responsible for a continuous stream of new and exciting personal care products. From BB creams to cushion compacts to novel sheet mask formats, Western brands are intrigued by what Korea will launch next to disrupt the global market.
Join half-Korean, half-English cosmetic scientist Lorna Radford as she takes you on a K-Beauty journey and shares her experience of Korean culture; how the Korean mindset can lead to so many innovations; the inspirations and difficulties of translating these concepts to the European market; and current Korean trends that we might expect to migrate across to Europe in the near future.
Lorna Radford is Managing Director of Enkos Developments, a scientific, creative and innovative formulation laboratory and consultancy that offers bespoke product development for brands across skin care, hair care and colour cosmetics. Lorna was also the recipient of the inaugural Young Achiever Award at the 2018 CEW Achiever Awards in November.
