FAQs 

About membership and tickets 

Q. Can I transfer my membership from CEW USA or CEW France?
A. No. We all work independently from one another. If you move to the UK and wish to join CEW (UK), you will have to sign up as a new member. Please contact the CEW (UK) office to receive a membership pack.

Q. Can I pay by credit card?
A. Yes. You can pay by credit card when you book your events online or when you join/renew your membership (this feature doesn't apply to the junior membership for which you need to contact christine@cewuk.co.uk)

Q. My company is paying for my membership; what happens when I leave?
A. Membership belongs to the individual whether the company has paid for it or not. Therefore, when a members leaves her company for any reason, the member keeps her membership and can update her contact details to her home address/email in the membership directory. CEW (UK) membership is not transferrable.  There is no corporate membership.

Q. Do I have to be a member to be able to buy a ticket for an event?
A. Yes. All our events are for members and, with the exception of  the mentoring events and the Beauty Awards Product Demonstration Evening, Members can bring along guests if they wish. If you wish to attend a CEW (UK) event and are not a member, you can do so by coming as a guest of a CEW (UK) member you know.

Q. How many guests can I bring to an event?
A. As many as you like within reason. CEW (UK) does not put a specific restriction on the number of guests a member can bring but reserves the right to give priority to member ticket request

Q. I am a man, can I join CEW?
A. No. CEW is an organisation for women only. You can attend events as the guest of a member.
