CEW (UK) Beauty Awards Raises Money for Its Philanthropic Initiatives 

As you may know, CEW(UK) places great importance on its philanthropic initiatives and has its own special  initiative, 'Cancer and Careers'. 

Its mission is to change the face of cancer in the workplace, by serving as the premier information and support resource for women seeking to continue working during and after cancer treatment.

Over the last 3 years CEW(UK) have also been raising money  for The Eve Appeal, a charity which was set up to save women’s lives by funding groundbreaking research into gynaecological cancers and so far have donated £75,000  to this worthy cause.  

However we now need to raise funds to publish our fourth edition of  the 'Living and Working with Cancer' Directory,  a vital information resource for women seeking to continue working during and after cancer treatment. So far we have distributed, free of charge, over 70,000 copies via cancer centers, hospitals, clinics, support groups and at cancer events and conferences. We also need to update our Cancer and Careers website www.cancerandcareersuk.org.

Though it is in no way mandatory we will be asking all winners and finalists of the 2013 CEW(UK) Beauty Awards if they are able to make donation towards this.
