LCBT Nails It!

Congratulations to the London College of Beauty Therapy  who raised approximately £1000 at their Guinness World  Records™ attempt on Thursday 10th May for Rays of Sunshine and The Eve Appeal.
Students at the central London College worked for 8 hours to complete no less than  2219 mini manicures.
LCBT were the first to ever set the record for the most nails filed and varnished in 8 hours back in 2010 with 1897 mini manicures and are pleased to have raised so much money for two very worthy causes while beating their original record.
Wish granting charity Rays of Sunshine and The Eve Appeal were thrilled to receive the final amount and be part of LCBT’s record attempt.
Students were privileged to work alongside Celebrity Nail Technician, Andrea Fulerton while special guests Aston and JB from boy band JLS also took part in the challenge.
Eileen Cavalier OBE, CEO of LCBT Said “This event was about giving our learners the opportunity to be part of something that they would never usually have been able to experience. As we have always tried to create careers not courses. Taking part in a Guinness World Records attempt will look great on their CV’s when they qualify and seek employment.”
